I took daughter to work this morning. A huge plume of smoke could be seen for miles. A scrapyard on the other side of the river near the Airport has been burning since last night.
We got a fair bit of work done in the garden at the back and side today. We have filled 3 planters with plants, have got 3 flagstones, and will take these to Martin tomorrow at his birthday bar -b -q.
It has been warm today, but the sky is cloudy and stormy looking. Warnings are being given about possible high temperatures next week.
We leave for England tomorrow after the party.
