This title comes a daily event at a venue in Glasgow called Oran Mhor.
Originally the building was a Bible Institute. But when it closed it became a glorified pub, with eating and drinking space and performance space too.
And eventually a daily perormance began to catch on using the performance space.
For £10 ( more on Friday and Saturdays ) you get a drink, a hot pie and a show.
It has now become a popular part of the Glasgow scene.
We went yesterday to see a performance of "The Soap Hour: The Light of Her Eyes" by Marianella Yanes, who comes from Venzuella.
It was a play within a play. It was very entertaining, funny, but movingand thoughtful too. It told the story of the violent suppressions which have taken place in South America, the missing and the vanished, and of a popular radio "soap".
And our son John was a member of the cast.
After the performance we met up with John and the cast and director for a drink...coffee actually.
We had a very pleasant afternoon altogether.
