That weekend a number of Re-enactment groups were gathering together to put on displays linked to their particular period.
There was a group portraying the Army of Robert the Bruce. Another were from the Napoleonic times.Then there was the American Civil War, World War I and II and finally Vietnam.
Plenty to watch, static displays to visit and all the groups were happy to answer questions.
All in all, a most interesting day.
