Huntingtower Castle, Perth

Today we were in Perth. We had breakfast at Dobbies, then I crossed over the road to wander through Huntingtower Castle.

It is an interesting place with an interesting history.
It has been known as Ruthven Castle and the Place of Ruthven.

The young King JamesVI, son of Mary Queen of Scots was kidnapped and held prisoner here for 10 months.
